Great to meet you!

I’m Tiana, an LCSW, and I work primarily with adults and young adults who are navigating trauma, difficult experiences, self-esteem, or simply finding their way through a heavy season of life. My background includes both residential and outpatient work, where I’ve worked alongside people facing addiction, trauma, grief, and the kinds of experiences that can leave us feeling disconnected from ourselves or unsure of where to go next. I want therapy to feel warm, genuine, and human — a place where you can be yourself, say what you really mean, and begin to understand what feels true to you and the life you want to build.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is warm, genuine, and direct. I want our work to feel safe enough to be honest, and comfortable enough that you can bring your whole self into the room. I want there to be room for both the difficult parts and the lighter moments — for understanding, exploration, and the occasional laugh along the way. I approach the work with compassion and curiosity, with the hope that together we can begin to clear a path toward connecting more fully with who you are and how you want to move through the world.

What you can expect from me

The first session is simply a place to begin. We’ll talk about what has been weighing on you, what brought you here, and what you hope to understand or experience differently. You don’t need to arrive with everything figured out — we can take some time to turn the light toward what’s happening within you and begin to put words to what you’ve been carrying. I’ll meet you with compassion and curiosity as we begin to make sense of where you are. My hope is that you leave feeling heard, understood, and a little more connected to the person you are beneath everything you’ve been carrying.
