Great to meet you!

I'm happy you're here! My name is Tiana Burdick, LCSW. Clients and loved ones describe me as calm, steady, and easy to talk to. I value honesty, collaboration, and creating a space where you can be your full self without pressure. I integrate evidence-based approaches with practical, real-life tools so you can apply what we do in therapy outside of sessions. I support clients in building stability, strengthening coping skills, and understanding themselves on a deeper level. You're not expected to have it all figured out—I'm here to guide you through that process.

I have a background in working for the State of Connecticut, Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services, as a Mobile Crisis Clinician; with the ability to stay calm and level-headed under stressful circumstances. I also have experience with neurodivergent clients and identify as a neurodivergent-affirming clinician.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, down-to-earth, and rooted in genuine human connection. I believe therapy should feel like a safe and supportive space where you can be fully yourself without fear of judgment. I’m compassionate and kind-hearted, and I meet clients with openness and curiosity. At the same time, I’m not afraid to gently confront patterns or beliefs that may be holding you back. I believe real growth comes from honesty paired with support, so I offer both: a space where you feel understood and validated, and guidance that helps you gain insight, build new skills, and move toward meaningful change. My goal is to help you feel grounded, empowered, and more connected to the life you want to live.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect the first session to be rooted in understanding and compassion. We will get to know each other, build rapport, and work on creating valuable therapy goals together to move forward in our process.
