Great to meet you!

I am a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) and Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) with over two decades of clinical experience across some of the most demanding healthcare environments in the world — from ICU and transplant units to inpatient and outpatient psychiatry. I am also a Diplomate of Lifestyle Medicine through the American College of Lifestyle Medicine. My training is broad, but my focus is clear: I specialize in trauma-focused psychotherapy, integrative psychiatry, and lifestyle medicine. I do not come to this work from the outside looking in. I understand, from both clinical expertise and lived experience, what it means to seek care that actually reaches the root.

My approach to therapy

My approach is grounded in the neurobiology of trauma, somatic theory, Polyvagal Theory, and attachment theory. I work within a dual-pathway framework that recognizes event trauma and attachment wounds as fundamentally different, each requiring its own treatment pathway. As an integrated provider, I always consider the whole person, incorporating nutrition, sleep, and other lifestyle factors, because lasting mental health cannot be separated from how we eat, rest, and live. Medication is considered thoughtfully and used as a last resort rather than a first response.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is a no-pressure conversation. I want to understand who you are, what you are carrying, and what you are hoping for. The goal is for you to feel seen and heard from the very first moment. Together, we will begin to map out a care approach that is individualized, honest, and built around your actual needs. You will leave with clarity about next steps and a sense of whether this practice is the right fit for you.
