Great to meet you!

My name is Dr. Tiara Reid, DNP, and I am a dual-certified Family Nurse Practitioner and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. I specialize in trauma-informed care that integrates both clinical precision and compassionate, culturally responsive support. My goal is to create a safe space where patients feel seen, heard, and empowered to heal.

My approach to therapy

My approach to care is rooted in a trauma-informed and attachment-based framework, blending psychodynamic insight with evidence-based modalities like CBT, birth trauma, and mindfulness practices. I believe healing happens when patients are empowered to understand their emotional patterns and rewire their inner narratives through education, emotional regulation, and compassion-centered treatment. Every care plan is individualized, collaborative, and anchored in dignity.

What you can expect from me

In our sessions, patients can expect a welcoming, pressure-free environment where they can speak openly and be met with empathy and clinical professionalism. I’ll ask thoughtful questions to better understand your story, clarify your current challenges, and begin crafting a care plan tailored to your needs. The focus is on building trust and clarity not rushing into labels or decisions.
