Tiara Kendrick

Hello my name is Tiara Kendrick. After several years of mental health experience I opened my private practice Zion Counseling and Wellness Enrichment Center, LLC. My educational background in Mental Health and Human Development and Family Science allows me to understand the needs of individuals over a wide range of ages and life span challenges. I will support and advocate with you as you learn to function better in every area of life. I love poetry, acting, swimming, amusement parks & animals.

My approach includes building up your strengths, identifying your supports and resources, helping you recognizing unproductive thoughts and behavior patterns, detailing the barriers and coming up with specific practical solutions together. Let's find the negatives that keep you stuck and uproot them! I have experience helping children, teens, individuals and families renew their life; emotions, thoughts, and behaviors. I offer Christian counseling and traditional non faith based counseling.

I believe you have the answers to what you need already inside of you- you just need the riught person to help direct you and ask the right questions to help you find what is already inside of you. I like to start with the day to day stressors initially and then determine if there are patterns in your thinking, beliefs, and reactions that could be founded in the past so I offer a present based approach to start getting you back to healthy functioning.
