Great to meet you!

I came to this career later in life after meandering off trail, many, many a time always seeking my center and an authentic version of myself. A creative thinker, maker and believer by nature, when I happened upon art therapy, I finally felt at home. I attended Mount Mary University in Milwaukee, WI and attained a dual MS in Art Therapy and Counseling with a Trauma certificate. I love working with people to heal and grow into the most authentic versions of themselves.

A bit about my approach to therapy

My approach is solution-orientated and empowering. I am trained to listen well and listen to what is REALLY being said. I provide reflective feedback, make recommendations, teach you skills and share knowledge, but steer away from giving direct advice. I am not the one who will live with your decisions, you are. I believe in being a co-creator of our lives and I see my role as a creative problem-solving facilitator.

What you can expect from our first session

You can expect to leave each session feeling heard and understood. Some sessions are for planting seeds, some are for aha! moments. Either way, it is my hope that each session will leave you with something to ponder, and something to put into action.
