Great to meet you!

Life can feel overwhelming when anxiety, depression, stress, and everyday responsibilities begin to pile up all at once. As a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, I believe prioritizing your mental health is one of the most important forms of self-care. For the past 10 years, I have worked in the mental health field, with a focus on supporting clients ages 12 and up who are struggling with anxiety, depression, emotional overwhelm, stress, life transitions, and the pressures of balancing personal and professional responsibilities. Many of the people I work with feel burned out, stuck, worried, or unsure how to move forward. Seeking support is the first step toward building healthier coping skills, restoring balance, and improving your overall well-being.

My approach to therapy

I believe every person comes to therapy with a unique story, different life experiences, and individual challenges. My approach is collaborative, authentic, and person-centered, with a strong focus on meeting you where you are. Building a trusting therapeutic relationship is very important to me, because healing and growth happen best when you feel safe, heard, and supported. I use person-centered therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness, and relaxation-based strategies to help clients better understand their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Whether you are dealing with anxiety, depression, worry, fear, emotional stress, or feeling overwhelmed by life, my goal is to help you develop practical coping skills and tools you can use in everyday situations.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, you can expect a warm, welcoming, and supportive environment where you can begin sharing your story at your own pace. The first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other, talk about what brought you to therapy, and discuss the goals you hope to reach. Whether you are struggling with anxiety, depression, stress, burnout, or life changes, I want you to feel safe and comfortable as we begin the process together. My goal is to build trust from the start and help you leave the session feeling heard, encouraged, and clearer about the next steps in your healing journey.
