Great to meet you!
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who has been practicing for over 15 years with a wealth of experience supporting individuals through a wide range of behavioral and emotional health challenges. I have worked across diverse settings including community programs, residential care, outpatient services, and emergency department, providing compassionate, evidence-based care to adolescents, adults, and families.
I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, my Master’s degree in Social Work from Virginia Commonwealth University, and my Doctorate of Social Work from Simmons University. I am licensed to practice in California, Texas, Virginia, and Illinois and hold certifications as a Trauma Professional and Grief and Bereavement Counselor.
My clinical background includes working with individuals experiencing serious mental illness, conducting crisis evaluations and risk assessments in emergency room settings, and providing crisis counseling during some of life’s most difficult moments. For eight years, I worked as a civilian provider supporting active-duty service members and veterans, helping them navigate challenges such as trauma, grief and loss, anxiety, depression, and occupational stress.
My approach is grounded in evidence-based therapies and tailored to meet each client’s unique needs. I strive to create a supportive, nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to move toward meaningful change. In addition to my clinical work, I have experience providing Employee Assistance Program (EAP) services.
