Great to meet you!

Many of my clients come to therapy feeling stick despite doing "all the right things". They may struggle with anxiety, trauma, substance use, relationship challenges, life transitions, or feeling disconnected from themselves. I specialize in helping adults move beyond simply coping and begin understanding the deeper patterns that keep them feeling overwhelmed, exhausted, and repeating the same patterns.

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and substance abuse counselor, I bring extensive experience working with trauma, addiction recovery, eating disorders, anxiety, depression, and women's issues. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and grounded in the belief that healing happens when we address both the symptoms and the root causes beneath them.

I work especially well with adults who are ready to move beyond surface level coping skills and develop a deeper understanding of themselves and their patterns.

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy should be more than talking about problems, it should help you understand yourself in a new way. My work is rooted in Internal Family Systems, trauma- informed care, nervous system regulation, and strengths-based approaches.

Together, we'll explore parts of you that may feel anxious, critical, overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected. Rather than judging these experiences, we'll work to understand them and build a greater sense of self-compassion and clarity.

I tailor therapy to each person and incorporate evidence-based approaches depending on your goals and needs.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, my goal is to get to know you, not just your symptoms but your story. We'll discuss what brings you to therapy, what you've already tried, and what you hope will be different in your life.

You don't have to have everything figured out before coming to therapy. Many clients arrive feeling overwhelmed, uncertain, or unsure where to begin. We will identify your goals together, explore what is getting in the way, and create a plan that feels realistic and meaningful to you.

Most clients leave the first session feeling heard, understood, and with a clearer sense of direction.
