Great to meet you!

I've always found fulfillment in helping others along their journey and supporting them in realizing their own potential. Often seen as a nurturing caregiver, I came to understand through my work as a therapist that many people already hold the solutions they seek—they just need the right space and support to uncover them.

Becoming a therapist was a lifelong dream I pursued later in life, earning my second Master’s degree in Professional Counseling in 2020. I began my clinical work with adolescents in group homes and have continued in this environment throughout my residency, while also expanding into community-based settings. My experience includes Multi-Systemic Therapy (MST) and addiction treatment with adults of all ages.

I have worked extensively with adolescents navigating challenges such as ADHD, Oppositional Defiant Disorder (ODD), Autism Spectrum Disorder, OCD and other behavioral and emotional disorders. Additionally, I completed specialized training through NOCD, where I focused on evidence-based Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) therapy for individuals with OCD.

I value building meaningful connections—whether in person or online—and bring a grounded, compassionate presence to each session. I have also completed EMDR International Association-approved EMDR training focused on trauma and neurodivergence, further enhancing the quality of care I provide to clients.

Outside of my work, I’m a proud parent to one biological teenage son and share my home with my significant other and his two teenage sons. Our lively household also includes three cats, two dogs, and plenty of fish. In my spare time, I enjoy taking family walks, hiking, running, and meditating to stay grounded and balanced.

My approach to therapy

My therapeutic approach is eclectic and highly personalized, allowing me to tailor each session to meet the unique needs of my clients. I integrate a range of evidence-based approaches, including Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) for OCD and anxiety, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), as well as somatic and mindfulness-based techniques. By integrating these methods thoughtfully, I aim to create a supportive and flexible space where clients feel empowered to explore their challenges and develop practical skills that foster lasting growth and healing.

What you can expect from me

In sessions with me, clients can expect to gain increased self-awareness and a deeper understanding of their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. Together, we work toward empowering them to recognize their own strengths and resilience, equipping them with practical coping tools to navigate life’s challenges more effectively. My goal is to guide clients toward a place of greater self-acceptance, helping them realize that they are enough just as they are—encouraging compassion toward themselves and fostering a lasting sense of inner peace and confidence.
