Great to meet you!

Reaching out for support can feel intimidating, and I strive to create a space where clients feel comfortable showing up exactly as they are. I’ve primarily worked in community health supporting individuals facing addiction, dual diagnosis, and life’s many challenges. I specialize in a harm reduction approach, meaning I meet clients where they are and believe progress looks different for everyone. I earned my education from University of Southern California and utilize evidence-based approaches including CBT, DBT, Motivational Interviewing, and Problem-Solving Therapy to help clients build coping skills, improve self-awareness, and strengthen their relationships with themselves and others.

Therapy doesn’t have to feel cold or intimidating. I value authenticity, collaboration, and creating a space where clients can feel safe enough to be honest, challenged, and understood. I currently offer tele-therapy sessions for added flexibility and comfort. Outside of therapy, I love traveling, discovering new places, and watching horror films — because sometimes healing also includes finding joy, connection, and moments to laugh along the way.

If you’re feeling hesitant about therapy or unsure if it’s the right fit, that’s completely okay. I am happy to meet you for a free consultation and make sure you find the right fit.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, nonjudgmental, and rooted in meeting clients where they are. I specialize in working with individuals navigating substance use, dual diagnosis, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, life transitions, and emotional overwhelm. With nearly four years of experience in a community health clinic setting, I’ve worked closely with high-risk and underserved populations facing addiction, crisis situations, homelessness, and co-occurring mental health concerns. I utilize a harm reduction approach and believe progress does not have to look perfect to be meaningful. My work integrates evidence-based practices including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, and Problem-Solving Therapy to help clients build healthier coping skills, improve emotional regulation, strengthen self-awareness, and create realistic, sustainable goals. I work to create a warm, supportive environment where clients feel safe exploring challenges, building resilience, and moving toward lasting change at their own pace.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect our first session to feel supportive, collaborative, and paced in a way that feels comfortable for them. I understand that starting therapy can feel intimidating, so I focus on creating a welcoming space where clients can share openly without fear of judgment or pressure. While we may explore current challenges and what brings you to therapy, I also believe it’s important to build rapport and get to know each person beyond the problems they are facing. Not every session has to feel heavy in order to be meaningful. I often use approaches such as the “miracle question” to help clients identify what they would like their lives to look like and what meaningful change would feel like for them. Together, we collaborate on short-term and long-term goals that align with each client’s individual needs, values, and readiness for change. My approach is rooted in harm reduction and meeting clients where they are, meaning I do not pressure clients to move faster than they feel ready for. Therapy is a process, and my goal is to help clients feel supported, empowered, and understood as they work toward growth at a pace that feels manageable and sustainable.
