Great to meet you!

I believe therapy should be a place where you can show up as your authentic self without fear of judgment. Whether you are dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, relationship concerns, or a major life transition, my goal is to help you feel supported while we work together toward meaningful change.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with a Ph.D. in Counselor Education and Supervision. My approach is collaborative, culturally responsive, and grounded in evidence-based practices. I believe there is no one-size-fits-all approach to therapy, so I tailor treatment to your individual needs, strengths, and goals. Together, we will identify what is getting in the way of the life you want and build practical strategies to help you move forward.

My approach to therapy

I view therapy as a partnership. You are the expert on your life, and I bring the clinical knowledge to help you make sense of your experiences, learn new coping skills, and move toward the goals that matter most to you. I aim to create a supportive, nonjudgmental environment where you feel comfortable being yourself and exploring both the challenges you are facing and the strengths you already have.

My approach is flexible and tailored to each client. I integrate evidence-based practices such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), person-centered therapy, strengths-based therapy, solution-focused therapy, and trauma-informed care. Whether you are working through anxiety, trauma, grief, or a life transition, we will work together to find strategies that fit your needs and support lasting growth.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, my priority is getting to know you and understanding what brought you to therapy. We will talk about your concerns, your goals, and any questions you have about the counseling process. There is no pressure to share everything at once. We will move at a pace that feels comfortable for you while beginning to identify the areas you would like to focus on. My goal is for you to leave the session feeling heard, supported, and with a clearer understanding of how we can work together toward meaningful change.
