Tiffany Atkins

My name is Tiffany Atkins and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Killeen, Tx. My passion has always been to become a counselor and help troubled youth and young adults. I begin my career as a counselor with the school district and then the juvenile detention facility. While at the detention facility, I was presented the opportunity to work as both a counselor for two years and a probation officer for two years which ultimately shined a light on the importance of early intervention.

I led counseling groups dealing with topics such as bullying, self-esteem, substance use, sexual abuse, trauma, guidance and career counseling, sexual offending, PTSD, criminal offending, and body image issues. In 2016, I pursued a second masters degree in Social Work at Texas State Univ. I have been trained at the graduate level to address the developmental needs of individuals through a comprehensive counseling program addressing the academic, career and personal/social development of people.

With my education and the specialized training, I received in counseling psychology and social work enables me to enter the community ready to provide individual, family, and group counseling services and commit to helping individuals overcome adversity while becoming healthy and productive members of society.
