Great to meet you!

I am a trauma‐trained clinician with nearly two decades of experience integrating psychological, somatic, and culturally informed approaches to healing. My work is grounded in evidence‐based modalities including CBT, DBT, mindfulness‐based interventions, narrative therapy, and expressive arts therapies. I support clients in developing emotional regulation skills, strengthening internal resources, and creating sustainable patterns of change.

I work from a developmental perspective, helping clients understand how early experiences, identity formation, and life transitions shape current patterns. I have extensive experience with neurodivergent individuals, highly creative and artistic minds, and those who process the world in nonlinear or intuitive ways. My practice also centers college‐aged youth, young artistic professionals, and members of the LGBTQ+ community, offering affirming care that honors identity, culture, and lived experience.

My approach is collaborative, structured, and holistic. I help clients reduce symptoms, build resilience, and create meaningful shifts in their daily lives while supporting the connection between mind, body, and spirit.

My approach to therapy

I work with all adults who are willing to give therapy an honest attempt and who are ready to catapult to a new level of awareness, insight and personal growth.

As a progressive and trauma informed clinician I am adept at helping clients build healthy coping skills, explore their racial and/or sexuality identities, and process trauma through a combination of modalities I have had the privilege of receiving training in- most importantly a trauma and culturally sensitive manner of approach to cognitive and dialectical modalities with a mix of mind/body centering practices through somatic experiencing and am currently training in Somatic based EMDR, as well as DBT/CBT, Art Therapy and Narrative approaches.

When entering a therapeutic relationship with me, clients are receiving someone who knows what it is like to walk the path of healing, not just study it or have authority over them. I am a clinician who is committed to providing a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients will be supported in moving beyond “surviving” as they find their voice to thrive.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, you can expect a warm, grounded space where we focus on building safety, trust, and a clear understanding of what brings you to therapy. We’ll explore your goals, values, and current challenges at a pace that feels comfortable, while beginning to identify the patterns and strengths that shape your experience. My role is to listen deeply, offer insight, and collaborate with you on a plan that supports meaningful growth from the very start.
