Great to meet you!

I’m a trauma-informed, somatic practitioner who primarily works with women navigating stress, anxiety, trauma, and life transitions. I’m naturally curious, engaged, and often bring a lot of energy into sessions when that feels supportive. I don’t believe therapy should feel rigid or formulaic, and I enjoy following what matters most to you. My hope is to create a space that feels human, collaborative, and grounded, where you can show up as you are.

My approach to therapy

My approach is somatic and trauma-informed, meaning we pay attention not just to thoughts and stories, but also to what’s happening in the body and nervous system. I often understand anxiety as a response to lived experience, stress, or past overwhelm rather than something that needs to be fixed. I don’t follow a one-size-fits-all model; instead, we work in a way that fits you and your unique context. I also draw from acceptance and commitment principles, helping clients notice patterns that get in the way and move toward choices that align with their values. Our work is collaborative and responsive, with room to focus on what feels most relevant and supportive for you at that time.

What you can expect from me

I know the first session can feel awkward, we’re strangers, and that’s okay. Our initial meeting is about getting to know each other and seeing how it feels to be in the room together. I’ll ask some questions to understand what’s bringing you in, and I’ll invite you to ask me anything as well. There’s no pressure in how much you share, there is no too much or too little; my goal is to create a grounded, low-pressure space where we can begin to build trust and decide how we want to work.
