Great to meet you!

I Can’t Wait to Meet You :)

I’m a warm and compassionate counselor who believes everyone deserves a safe space to feel heard, understood, and supported. My background in counseling has given me experience helping clients work through emotions, build confidence, develop healthy coping skills, and navigate life’s challenges. I believe asking for help is a sign of strength, and I want you to feel comfortable being yourself without fear of judgment. My goal is to meet you where you are, listen to what you need, and work together toward meaningful, positive change.

My approach to therapy

My Approach to Therapy

I believe every person is unique, and therapy should be personalized to fit your needs, personality, and goals. I primarily use a person-centered approach, meaning I focus on truly listening to you, understanding your perspective, and creating a space where you feel safe and accepted. I also enjoy incorporating play therapy and art therapy when they feel like a good fit, especially for clients who may express themselves more comfortably through creativity and play. Most importantly, I’m here to listen, support you, and work alongside you as we navigate your journey.

What you can expect from me

What to Expect From Your First Session

Your first session is a chance for me to get to know you and for you to share what brought you to therapy, but I also want to get to know you beyond your therapy goals. We may talk about your interests, strengths, hobbies, and the things that make you who you are. Getting to know you as a whole person helps me personalize our sessions and create materials or activities that connect with you when appropriate. Most importantly, there is no pressure to have everything figured out—we’ll take it one step at a time as we navigate your journey together.
