Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Tiffany Cardona, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) who takes a systemic and relational approach to therapy. I believe that our relationships, family dynamics, life experiences, and environments all play an important role in shaping how we understand ourselves and navigate the world.

I view therapy as a collaborative process. You are the expert on your own life, and my role is to provide a supportive, nonjudgmental space where we can explore what you’re experiencing, identify patterns, gain insight, and work toward meaningful change.

I enjoy working with individuals and couples who are navigating relationship challenges, family conflict, life transitions, stress, self-esteem, and feeling overwhelmed by the demands of everyday life.

Whether you're experiencing a specific challenge or simply feel stuck and want a better understanding of yourself and your relationships, therapy can provide an opportunity to slow down, reflect, and move forward with greater clarity and intention.

My goal is to create a space where you feel heard, respected, and comfortable being your authentic self.

You don't have to have everything figured out to begin therapy-you just have to be willing to take the first step.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is systemic and relational, meaning I look at the whole picture rather than viewing your concerns in isolation. I believe that our relationships, family dynamics, past experiences, and the environments we live in can all influence how we think, feel, and respond to the challenges in our lives.

I view therapy as a collaborative process. Rather than telling you what you should do, I work alongside you to better understand your experiences, identify patterns, explore different perspectives, and develop strategies that feel realistic and meaningful for you.

I strive to create a therapeutic space that feels warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental, while also offering thoughtful reflection and opportunities for growth. My goal is to help you develop greater self-awareness, strengthen your relationships, navigate life transitions, and feel more confident in the choices you make.

I believe meaningful change begins with feeling understood- and therapy can be a place where you can slow down, make sense of what you're experiencing, and move forward with greater clarity.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and begin understanding what brings you to therapy. We’ll talk about what you’re experiencing, what you hope to gain from therapy, and the areas of your life that feel most important to explore.

I’ll also ask questions about your relationships, family, personal history, and current circumstances so that I can better understand the bigger picture- not just the concern that brought you to therapy.

Most importantly, you don’t need to come in with everything figured out. You can share as much or as little as you feel comfortable with. We’ll move at a pace that feels manageable for you.

By the end of our first session, we’ll have a better sense of what you’d like to work on together and whether we feel like a good therapeutic fit. My goal is for you to leave feeling heard, understood, and hopeful about the work ahead.
