Great to meet you!

With 15 years of experience in the field, I am a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Therapist specializing in providing comprehensive care to individuals, couples, and families. My practice focuses on clients aged 13 and older, addressing a wide range of challenges including depression, anxiety, trauma, and relationship dynamics.

I draw from a variety of evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and Family Systems Theory, to create a tailored therapeutic approach for each client. I believe in fostering a collaborative and supportive environment where clients can explore their experiences, develop coping strategies, and cultivate lasting change.

My extensive experience allows me to guide clients through complex emotional landscapes, helping them build stronger communication skills, heal from past wounds, and foster healthier connections. My goal is to empower individuals and families to navigate life's challenges with greater resilience and a deeper sense of well-being.

My approach to therapy

With 15 years of experience, I offer therapy to individuals, couples, and families (ages 13+). My approach combines the practical, evidence-based tools of CBT and Solution-Focused Therapy with an optional, faith-based perspective.

This means we'll focus on actionable steps and solutions for your problems while also creating a space where your Christian faith can be an integral part of your healing process if you choose. My goal is to equip you with both the clinical skills and spiritual grounding needed for lasting change.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is a dedicated space for us to get to know each other and for you to feel comfortable. My goal is to create a safe, non-judgmental environment where you can openly share your concerns.

Here's what you can expect:

  • Introductions and Logistics: We'll start with a brief review of confidentiality, my professional background, and the therapeutic process. This is a great time for you to ask any questions you may have.
  • Your Story: I'll invite you to share what brought you to therapy. This is your time to tell your story in your own words—whether that's a specific problem, a long-term pattern, or a general feeling of being stuck.
  • Goals and Expectations: We'll begin to clarify your goals for therapy. What would you like to be different? What does success look like to you? This helps us create a roadmap for our work together.
  • Collaboration: We'll end the session with a shared understanding of what the next steps might look like. Our work is a collaborative partnership, and this first session is the beginning of that journey together.
