Great to meet you!

Hey there, my name is Tiffany Dowdy and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor in the great state of Texas. I am also a certified hypnotherapist with 10+ years of experience practicing alternative forms of psychotherapy and trauma informed healing. I specialize in PTSD/trauma, personality disorders, and anxiety related issues, serving all ages and populations including active military and veterans. I also see clients with substance abuse, depression, and marital/familial conflict.

A bit about my approach to therapy

My approach to counseling is interactive, warm, and accepting, utilizing various therapeutic modalities that are tailored to my clients needs. I realize that everyone is different and you will find that I am flexible and willing to adjust the structure of our sessions to your preference, while always maintaining a collaborative standpoint.

What you can expect from our first session

Sharing your authentic self with someone else can be understandably difficult and even uncomfortable at times. Therefore, it is my goal to create a safe space for others to disclose their unique story, while recognizing the significance and responsibility that comes with being a trusted part in someone else’s journey.
