Great to meet you!

Welcome! My name is Tiffany Flores and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). I completed graduate school at University at Buffalo and have extensive experience working with individuals struggling with anxiety/panic, OCD, depression, interpersonal issues, history of trauma and life transitions.

A bit about my approach to therapy

My primary goal as a therapist is to help build a safe and welcoming space to allow for growth and healing. I take a warm and strength based approach and will work collaboratively with you to identify your individual goals and help equip you with tools to reach them. I utilize a variety of evidence based practices such including ACT, CBT and DBT that will help in being able to bring awareness to your thoughts, emotions and bodily sensations and teach you how to effectively manage them.

What you can expect from our first session

During your first session, my goal is to be able to listen to your story and understand where you feel like you are struggling and understand where you would like to grow to live a more valued, fulfilling life. We will then jointly create a plan outlining your goals and what routes we can take to get us there.
