Great to meet you!

I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with extensive experience providing crisis intervention, trauma-informed care, and supportive therapy to individuals navigating some of the most overwhelming moments of their lives. I bring a calm, grounded, and compassionate presence to my work, and I believe deeply in meeting every client exactly where they are—without judgment, assumptions, or pressure.

My background includes years of working in a fast-paced crisis receiving center, where I supported clients facing depression, anxiety, grief, life transitions, unstable housing, relationship stress, substance use concerns, and acute emotional dysregulation. Because of this, I am skilled at helping clients untangle complex feelings, understand their triggers, and develop coping strategies that feel realistic and sustainable.

Clients often tell me they feel understood, safe, and genuinely heard when working with me. I take a collaborative and empowering approach, helping you build insight, strengthen your sense of control, and discover the version of yourself you’re striving to become. I believe healing looks different for everyone, and I’m committed to supporting you at your pace.

I’m warm, honest, and human in the room. I will challenge you gently when needed, celebrate your wins, and help you navigate the moments when life feels heavy or uncertain. My goal is to help you create clarity, stability, and emotional freedom—so you can live a life that feels meaningful and aligned with who you are.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, client-centered, and grounded in compassion. I believe you are the expert on your own life, and my role is to help you make sense of your experiences, understand your emotional patterns, and build tools that support long-term healing and stability. I meet clients exactly where they are, providing a nonjudgmental space that prioritizes safety, trust, and honesty.

What you can expect from me

Because of my background in crisis intervention, trauma-informed care, and working with individuals experiencing intense emotional distress, I focus on helping clients slow things down, identify underlying needs, and develop practical strategies to navigate overwhelming thoughts and feelings. I draw from cognitive-behavioral approaches, mindfulness, emotion regulation strategies, strengths-based work, and motivational interviewing—tailoring each session to what best supports you in the moment.

I believe therapy should help you understand why you feel the way you do, not just teach coping skills. Together, we explore patterns, triggers, core beliefs, and the narratives you’ve carried—so you can replace them with healthier, more empowering perspectives. I am both warm and direct in session: I listen deeply, challenge gently, and support you in developing the insight and confidence needed to create meaningful change.

My goal is to help you feel grounded, heard, and equipped—not only during crisis, but in your everyday life. Therapy with me is a space to grow, heal, and reconnect with yourself at your own pace.
