Great to meet you!

I’m passionate about supporting people of all ages as they overcome challenges and tap into their inner strengths. I have extensive experience counseling children, adolescents, and adults, which allows me to support clients through a variety of life challenges and developmental stages.

Together, we’ll work practically and collaboratively to build your confidence and resilience, helping you create a life that aligns with your values. I’m here to guide you through manageable steps that bring clarity, hope, and forward momentum.

I earned my Doctorate in Education from Southern Methodist University (SMU) in 2022, with a dissertation focused on school counseling. I also hold a Master’s degree in Counseling and Development from Texas Woman’s University (TWU), earned in 2010.

My approach to therapy

I take a collaborative and practical approach to therapy, focused on helping you create meaningful, lasting change.

I draw from several evidence-based approaches, including Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Reality Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing, all grounded in the belief that you are capable of change, even when things feel stuck or overwhelming.

In our work together, we’ll explore what’s working, what’s getting in the way, and what you want your life to look like. We’ll look at how your thoughts, behaviors, and choices shape your experiences and identify small, doable steps that can move you toward your goals.

Most importantly, you can expect a space where your voice is heard, respected, and valued.

What you can expect from me

The first session is about understanding your story and what you want to change. We’ll take time to get to know each other and begin building a foundation for our work together.

I’ll ask questions to help clarify what brought you to therapy, what you hope to achieve, and what feels most important to you right now.

Together, we’ll start uncovering your goals and create realistic steps to build a clear plan moving forward.

This session is your space to share openly. There is no pressure to have it all figured out yet.
