Great to meet you!

As a licensed professional counselor, I have a passion for advocating for mental health as a priority in living a fulfilled life. I strive to provide support, guidance and therapeutic interventions to individuals seeking to navigate life’s stressors and challenges to enhance their overall quality of life. I have over 15 years of experience in the field of education, working as a teacher and school counselor and have worked as a therapist for the past 3 years. I prioritize working with adolescents and young adults struggling with anxiety, depression, life transitions, stress relief, self esteem, and those struggling with ADHD.

My approach to therapy

I aim to promote mental health and emotional well-being. My practice involves providing a welcoming environment where clients feel safe to share in a non-judgmental space. As a therapist, my therapeutic approach is eclectic, and client centered. Person-centered and cognitive behavior therapy are infused to cater to client’s specific needs.

What you can expect from me

I begin with an introductory session, where you will have the opportunity to share your story and goals as it relates to what you want to achieve in therapy. It will be a collaborative experience, and we will work it out together! With time, you can expect to take away relief and emotional support, clarity and insight, practical tools, improved self-esteem, empowerment and better daily functioning. This journey is about healing, growing and developing the tools to handle life's challenges with greater ease. Therapy doesn't mean fixing what is broken- it means nurturing what's already within you.
