Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), National Certified Counselor (NCC), and Credentialed Alcohol & Substance Abuse Counselor (CASAC) dedicated to helping adults navigate life's challenges with compassion and evidence-based care. My experience includes community mental health, crisis intervention, and working with individuals experiencing co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders.

I specialize in supporting adults facing anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, anger, emotional regulation difficulties, relationship concerns, life transitions, and substance use. I believe everyone has the capacity for growth, and I strive to create a welcoming, culturally responsive environment where you feel respected, supported, and empowered throughout your journey.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative, client-centered, and goal-oriented. I believe therapy is a partnership where we work together to better understand your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors while building on your existing strengths. Rather than simply talking about problems, I focus on helping you develop practical tools you can apply in everyday life.

I integrate evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, mindfulness, and strength-based interventions. Every treatment plan is tailored to your unique experiences, values, and goals so that therapy feels meaningful, relevant, and effective.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another in a comfortable, judgment-free environment. We'll discuss what brought you to therapy, the challenges you're experiencing, and what you hope to gain from treatment. I'll ask questions about your history, current concerns, and strengths so I can better understand your unique situation.

By the end of our session, you'll have a clearer understanding of how we can work together, and we'll begin identifying goals and developing a personalized plan that supports your emotional wellness and long-term growth.
