Great to meet you!

I’m Tiffany Johnson, a Licensed Professional Counselor, National Certified Counselor, and Board-Certified Telehealth Professional. I provide thoughtful, evidence-informed therapy for children, teens, adults, and parents across Texas through a 100% telehealth practice. I support clients navigating anxiety, depression, emotional overwhelm, life transitions, and stress related to school, work, parenting, chronic conditions, and high expectations.

With over 21 years in education and more than a decade in mental health, I understand how emotional wellbeing intersects with learning, family systems, identity development, and daily responsibilities. My aim is to offer a calm, nonjudgmental space where you feel heard, supported, and empowered to move forward with clarity and confidence.

My approach to therapy

My approach is integrative, evidence-informed, and tailored to each client. I blend CBT-informed strategies with skills-based interventions to support emotional regulation, strengthen boundaries, reduce distress, and build sustainable coping systems. My work is also developmentally appropriate and trauma-informed, ensuring care feels safe, respectful, and aligned with your needs and life context.

Treatment is intentional and personalized. Together, we will:

  • clarify patterns and underlying drivers
  • develop emotionally grounded coping strategies
  • strengthen confidence, self-trust, and decision-making
  • refine communication and boundary-setting
  • build executive functioning supports (planning, follow-through, routines, overwhelm) when needed
  • set goals that are measurable, realistic, and values-aligned

My goal is to help you feel steadier, clearer, and more empowered—internally and externally.

What you can expect from me

The first session is a clinical, supportive intake designed to understand your needs and establish a clear direction for care. We’ll review what brings you in, explore relevant background, and identify what you want to change—both short-term and long-term. I will also review confidentiality, telehealth expectations, and answer any questions you have about the therapeutic process.

You can expect the session to be:

  • calm, structured, and respectful
  • guided by clinically relevant questions (without pressure to share everything at once)
  • focused on clarity, stabilization, and next steps
  • oriented toward an initial plan for treatment

By the end of the first session, you should have a clearer understanding of what we’re targeting, how therapy will be structured, and what progress can realistically look like.
