Great to meet you!

I earned my master's degree from Walden University, and I have experience working in a variety of clinical settings, including private practice, community mental health, hospitals, and nursing homes. My professional background includes supporting individuals through challenges related to anxiety, depression, trauma, psychosis, ADHD, Bipolar and related disorders, relationship concerns, life transitions, grief, stress management, etc.

I specialize in working with children, adolescents, adults, couples, families, veterans, LGBTQ+ individuals, neurodivergent clients, and I strive to create a supportive, collaborative, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel heard and understood. My approach is grounded in CBT and person-centered therapy, while tailoring treatment to each client’s unique goals and experiences.

I’m passionate about helping clients build insight, resilience, and practical tools that support lasting growth and meaningful change.

My approach to therapy

My approach to care is collaborative, compassionate, and individualized. I believe that each person’s experiences, strengths, and challenges are unique, so treatment should be tailored to meet the specific needs and goals of the client. I strive to create a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel comfortable exploring difficult emotions, building insight, and developing practical tools for growth and healing. My goal is to help clients feel empowered, supported, and better connected to themselves and the lives they want to create.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect the first session to be a welcoming, supportive conversation focused on getting to know them and understanding what brings them to the psychiatric appointment. We’ll discuss current concerns, personal history, goals for treatment, and any challenges or stressors they may be experiencing. I also encourage clients to ask questions about the process so they can feel comfortable and informed.

The first session is an opportunity to begin building a strong therapeutic relationship and to create a space where clients feel heard, respected, and understood. Together, we’ll explore what they hope to gain from the visit and begin identifying goals and strategies that align with their needs and values.
