Great to meet you!

Your life can change in a day, let today be that day.

My name is Tiffany and I have been a licensed mental health counselor for 16 years. I have worked with all age groups and my current area of focus is working with those in the helping professions to practice adequate self-care and prevent burnout so they can continue to be their healthiest selves while helping and serving others.

Whether you're a healthcare worker, therapist, first responder, service member or veteran, teacher, or caregiver you spend so much of your time caring for others. Therapy can be a place where you focus on your own well-being, build resilience, prevent burnout, and reconnect with yourself.

I specialize in working with adults struggling with depression, anxiety, navigating life change and healing from the impact of trauma. Together we will explore what is keeping you stuck, make progress towards your individualized therapy goals, achieve personal growth, and establish healthy coping skills and strategies to cope with the challenges of daily life.

My approach to therapy

I use an integrated model of care in my approach to therapy. I do not believe in a one size fits all approach. I believe the therapeutic relationship itself is the vehicle of change, based on the theoretical foundation of the Psychodynamic approach. In a word where personal connection is harder to find, I place great emphasis on a Person Centered environment of non-judgement, unconditional positive regard and an authentic alliance we will build in our work together.

My approach integrates the core principles of CBT Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, MBSR mindfulness based stress reduction techniques, Psychoeducation, and Emotional processing. I am trained in TFCBT, DBT skills & strategies, Mindfulness & Meditation, and more.

What you can expect from me

Our first session will last approximately one hour and is an opportunity for me to get to know you and your story.

I use a biopsychosocial approach to assessment, which means we'll look at the biological, psychological, and social factors that influence your mental health and overall well-being.

This includes exploring your personal and family history, identifying both risk and protective factors, understanding your strengths and resilience, and examining the experiences that have shaped how you relate to yourself and the world around you.
