Great to meet you!

I obtained my Master of Arts in Professional Counseling from Amberton University in 2021 and am a licensed professional counselor in the state of Texas and clinical professional counselor in the state of Nevada. My areas of focus include depression, anxiety, trauma, relationship / attachment issues, couples counseling, adjustment difficulties, and emotion regulation difficulties.

My approach to therapy

Each client is unique and my goal is to fit myself to you, not you to your therapist. I will ask for your feedback so that I can be the best therapist for YOU! I utilize an eclectic approach including cognitive and dialetical behavioral therapies, somatic approaches, emotionally focused, and solution-focused, depending on your needs. Therapy is a collaborative effort!

What you can expect from me

The first few sessions are me getting to know you. I strive to create a warm, nurturing environment where you can feel comfortable processing through past trauma and current stressors and struggles. I use behavioral activation to help overcome depression so will work with you to set goals to assist you combat depression and anxiety. In working through trauma, we will work through an emotion focused approach to heal and get "unstuck" from the past. My goal is to put you in the driver seat in therapy as you are the expert in you. I'm here to partner with you in your journey.
