Tiffany Meeks

My name is Tiffany Meeks with Therapy Warriors, Inc. I am a LPC in VA. I see clients ages 13-75 who are seeking aid with mental health disorders. I have been providing therapy services since 2018 for various problems including but not limited to depression, anxiety, suicidal/homicidal ideations, self-harming, relationship issues, parenting problems, anger management, bipolar disorder disorder, schizophrenia, adjustment disorders, and substance use disorders.

My therapy style is personable, laid back, and interactive yet challenging when appropriate. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion, and I don't believe in stigmatizing labels. I believe that treatment should be based on the needs and personality of the individual and therefore use various forms of therapy including but not limited to Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT) and Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT). I am also a Certified AutPlay Therapy Provider (CAPTP).

My goal is to provide a safe environment, mutual respect, and build a trusting, non-judgmental, therapeutic relationship in order for my clients to feel empowered, heard, and supported. I work to help them identify their strengths and build upon those skills to work towards therapeutic goals, challenge negative thinking, process trauma, alleviate challenges, and build hope in their lives.
