Great to meet you!

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I believe therapy should be a space where you feel genuinely seen, heard, and supported—without judgment. My approach is client-centered, collaborative, and rooted in compassion. I understand that reaching out for help can feel overwhelming, and I work to create a calm, trusting environment where you can explore challenges at your own pace.

My strengths include helping clients navigate life transitions, relationship challenges, stress, trauma, and emotional overwhelm. I focus not only on symptom relief, but also on fostering resilience, self-awareness, and empowerment. I believe people are capable of meaningful change when given the right support and space.

My approach to therapy

I draw from evidence-based practices while tailoring treatment to each individual’s unique experiences, strengths, and goals. I value authenticity and transparency in the therapeutic relationship, and I see therapy as a partnership—we work together to identify patterns, build insight, and develop practical tools for growth and healing.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, my goal is to help you feel comfortable, heard, and supported. We’ll start by getting to know one another and discussing what brought you to therapy. You’re welcome to share as much or as little as you feel ready to—there is no pressure to have everything figured out.

I’ll ask some questions to better understand your current concerns, background, and what you hope to gain from therapy. This may include discussing stressors, relationships, life transitions, or past experiences that feel relevant. Together, we’ll begin identifying your goals and what support might look like moving forward.

I’ll also explain my approach to therapy, answer any questions you may have, and review important topics such as confidentiality, boundaries, and logistics so you know exactly what to expect. The first session is as much an opportunity for you to see if I’m a good fit for you as it is for me to learn how to best support you.

By the end of the session, many clients feel a sense of relief, clarity, or direction, though there is no “right” way to feel. We’ll move at a pace that feels safe and respectful, and we’ll decide together on next steps.
