Great to meet you!

Hi, I'm Tiffany Payne, a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) with over a decade of experience supporting individuals through life's challenges and transitions. I specialize in working with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, burnout, caregiver stress, grief, life transitions, self-esteem concerns, and relationship challenges. My background includes healthcare, hospice, rehabilitation, child welfare, and community-based social work. I am especially passionate about helping high-achieving women and caregivers who often find themselves overwhelmed and putting everyone else's needs before their own. My goal is to help clients create meaningful, lasting change that extends beyond the therapy session.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative, practical, and client-centered. I utilize evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and strengths-based interventions to help clients better understand themselves and navigate challenges. As a social worker, I also recognize the impact that relationships, life experiences, and environmental stressors can have on mental health. I work alongside clients to identify their priorities, build effective coping strategies, and develop realistic solutions. My goal is not only to help clients feel better, but to help them live better.

What you can expect from me

The first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and begin building a comfortable therapeutic relationship. We will discuss what brings you to therapy, explore your current concerns, and identify the goals you would like to work toward. I strive to create a supportive, nonjudgmental environment where clients feel heard, respected, and understood. Together, we will begin developing a plan that aligns with your needs, values, and priorities. Clients often leave the first session with greater clarity, hope, and a sense of direction for moving forward.
