Tiffany Richburg

I am a licensed clinical social worker in Florida and South Carolina with over 3 years of clinical experience. I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Experimental Psychology and Master of Social Work from the University of South Carolina in 2006 and 2009, respectively. I have worked with individuals and groups across various community and mental health settings.

I utilize a variety of techniques and skills drawn from recognized therapeutic modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). A holistic, strength based, person centered approach guides my practice. I believe in working in partnership with clients to identify strengths, confront challenges and achieve goals. I strive to create a warm and welcoming environment that promotes a safe space for healing, empowerment and growth.

I believe that you are the expert of your story and have many strengths that will assist you in overcoming issues that challenge you. Psychotherapy helps us understand the behaviors, emotions, and ideas that contribute to anxiety and stress; regain a sense of control and pleasure in life; understand and identify the life problems that contribute to our symptoms; and learn coping techniques and problem-solving skills.
