Great to meet you!

I have been in the helping profession for over 20 years, working with individuals from many different backgrounds. I have a graduate degree in Rehabilitation Counseling from Virginia Commonwealth University and am a Licensed Professional Counselor. I most enjoy working with people who are struggling with addiction or have a family member with addiction, struggling with self-esteem, co-dependence, relationship issues and various life stressors.

My approach to therapy

Developing therapeutic rapport and a successful patient/therapist relationship is the most important aspect of the therapeutic process. I offer a relaxed, comfortable approach that can be adapted to what works best for you and your needs. We can figure that out together.

What you can expect from me

The most important part of therapy is the relationship that we build together. My hope for you is that you will walk away from our first meeting feeling comfortable, safe and hopeful and confidant that we can work together to address your concerns.
