What you can expect from me

The first session is mainly about getting to know each other and helping you feel comfortable. We’ll talk about what brought you in and what you’re hoping for from therapy, at a pace that feels right for you.

I work from a person-centered, trauma-focused approach, which means you’re always in control of what we discuss. There’s no pressure to share anything before you’re ready. My style is warm, collaborative, and down-to-earth, with room for humor when it fits.

You don’t need to have everything figured out. The goal of the first session is simply for you to feel heard, respected, and supported.
