Great to meet you!

Before becoming a full-time therapist, I spent over a decade in senior healthcare leadership roles, including serving as a Regional Vice President. I understand firsthand what it feels like to carry organizational responsibility, navigate performance scrutiny, manage crisis-level decision-making, and still be expected to remain composed.

I know what it is like to be the person others rely on while quietly absorbing pressure yourself.

Because of that experience, I do not approach therapy from a purely academic lens. I understand the practical realities of leadership, workplace instability, documentation demands, regulatory pressure, and the emotional toll of sustained high performance.

Clients should also know that I value clarity and forward movement. I respect your time, your intelligence, and your capacity for growth. Therapy with me is thoughtful and strategic, but it is also grounded and human. You do not need to perform in this space.

You can show up exactly as you are; whether that is composed, exhausted, frustrated, or uncertain. My role is to help you think clearly again, regulate effectively, and rebuild stability in a way that supports both your ambition and your well-being.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is structured, strategic, and evidence-based. I work collaboratively with clients to identify the patterns beneath their symptoms; whether that is chronic stress, burnout, anxiety, trauma responses, or identity strain tied to professional demands.

Rather than focusing only on surface-level symptom relief, we examine the cognitive beliefs, nervous system activation, and behavioral patterns that sustain distress. Many high-performing individuals operate from deeply ingrained narratives around responsibility, performance, and self-worth. Together, we clarify which of those beliefs are adaptive and which are no longer serving you.

I integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, trauma-informed frameworks, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and solution-focused strategies to create both insight and forward movement. Sessions are thoughtful and direct. We build emotional regulation skills, challenge distorted thinking, and strengthen psychological flexibility so you can function effectively without remaining in survival mode.

My goal is not to reduce ambition or diminish standards. It is to help you operate from resilience rather than exhaustion. Therapy becomes a space to recalibrate; restoring clarity, steadiness, and sustainable performance in both professional and personal life.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is focused, collaborative, and practical. We begin by identifying what is bringing you in now and what feels most urgent. Many of my clients arrive feeling overwhelmed, burned out, or mentally exhausted from sustained pressure. My goal is to help you quickly regain clarity.

We will explore the specific stressors impacting you, whether those are professional demands, leadership strain, performance anxiety, trauma-related triggers, or life transitions. I will ask structured questions to understand both the current situation and the patterns that may be contributing to it.

In addition to understanding your history, we will examine how stress is affecting your nervous system, thinking patterns, and behavior. You can expect insight into what is happening psychologically and physiologically, not just emotional validation.

Before we conclude, we will outline a clear direction for our work together. Many clients leave the first session with a greater sense of steadiness and relief simply from understanding that what they are experiencing is not weakness, but accumulated stress and overload. You will also leave with at least one practical strategy you can begin applying immediately.

The first session sets the tone: thoughtful, structured, and oriented toward meaningful progress.
