Great to meet you!

I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor in Wisconsin with a focus on relationships, intimacy, sexuality, and the ways people navigate connection with themselves and with others. My work is inclusive, sex-positive, and grounded in the belief that there is no single “right” way to experience relationships, desire, intimacy, or sexuality.

I work with individuals experiencing relationship concerns, changes in desire or sexual connection, communication difficulties, life transitions, anxiety, self-esteem concerns, and challenges related to intimacy and identity. I also have specialized experience working with consensual non-monogamy (CNM/ENM), open relationships, kink and BDSM, alternative relationship structures, and people exploring what they want from their relationships and sexual lives.

My approach is collaborative, direct, curious, and nonjudgmental. Rather than assuming that every relationship or individual should fit a particular model, I help clients better understand their patterns, needs, boundaries, desires, and values so they can make choices that are meaningful to them.

I hold a graduate degree in counseling and am a Wisconsin Licensed Professional Counselor. My professional background also includes advanced education and training in sexuality and relationships, and I became a Certified Sexologist in 2021. I have extensive experience providing virtual therapy and working with adults navigating both traditional and nontraditional relationships.

Therapy with me is a space where you do not have to edit the complicated parts of your relationships, sexuality, or experiences to make them more comfortable for someone else. We can talk openly about what is happening, understand what is underneath it, and determine what you want to do next.

My approach to therapy

My style is warm, direct, collaborative, and grounded in curiosity. I don’t believe therapy should feel like someone sitting across from you silently taking notes or telling you how you should live your life. I’m actively engaged in the process, asking questions, helping you notice patterns, and creating space to explore what is actually happening beneath the surface.

I work with clients around relationships, intimacy, sexuality, communication, anxiety, life transitions, self-esteem, boundaries, and understanding their own wants and needs. I have a particular focus on relationship and sexual concerns, including changes in desire, mismatched desire, difficulties with intimacy, sexual communication, consensual non-monogamy (CNM/ENM), open relationships, kink and BDSM, and other nontraditional relationship structures.

My approach is sex-positive, inclusive, and nonjudgmental. I won’t assume that monogamy is the goal, that more sex is automatically better, or that there is one correct way a relationship should look. Instead, we’ll get curious about your experiences, identify the patterns that may be keeping you stuck, and work toward changes that make sense for your values, relationships, and life.

You can expect therapy with me to include both deeper exploration and practical conversations about what you can actually do differently. The goal isn’t to turn you into someone else. It’s to help you understand yourself more clearly and make more intentional choices about how you want to live, connect, and relate.

What you can expect from me

I create a therapy environment that is open, conversational, collaborative, and free from judgment. You should be able to talk honestly about your relationships, sexuality, desires, fears, frustrations, or uncertainty without worrying that you need to make your experiences sound more acceptable or fit a particular idea of what a relationship or life should look like.

The goals we set will depend on what brings you to therapy, but they often include understanding patterns that keep repeating, communicating more clearly, developing stronger boundaries, navigating relationship changes, rebuilding connection or intimacy, understanding changes in desire, and becoming more confident in identifying and expressing what you actually want and need.

For clients exploring consensual non-monogamy, kink, BDSM, or other nontraditional relationship structures, our work may also focus on agreements, jealousy, communication, trust, sexual exploration, relationship transitions, and separating what you genuinely want from what you feel you are supposed to want.

Ultimately, I want therapy to help you leave with more than insight. My goal is for you to develop a clearer understanding of yourself, practical ways to navigate the challenges that brought you to therapy, and greater confidence in making intentional choices that align with your values and the life and relationships you want to create.
