I am a board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with experience in inpatient, outpatient, school based, and substance use treatment settings. I have treated adolescents and adults with major psychiatric conditions including schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, depression, anxiety, ADHD, trauma related disorders, and co occurring substance use concerns.

My training emphasizes thorough assessment and individualized treatment planning. I provide patient centered care that balances thoughtful medication management with evidence based therapeutic strategies. My goal is collaborative treatment, clear education, and long term emotional stability and improved daily functioning.

My approach to care is patient centered, collaborative, and grounded in careful assessment. I take time to understand the full clinical picture before recommending treatment. Not every concern requires medication, and when medication is appropriate, it is prescribed thoughtfully with clear goals and follow up. I integrate trauma informed and cognitive behavioral strategies to support long term stability, improved functioning, and greater confidence in managing mental health.

During the first session, clients can expect a thorough and thoughtful evaluation. I will ask about current symptoms, personal and family psychiatric history, medical background, past treatments, and goals for care. This is also an opportunity for you to ask questions and share concerns. Together, we will discuss impressions and outline a collaborative treatment plan tailored to your individual needs.
