Great to meet you!

My name is Tim Hooey, and I am a Level II Certified Restoration Therapist and Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT). I specialize in working with adolescents, foster and adoptive families, and individuals who struggle with feelings of being lost, overwhelmed, or disconnected. Many of my clients come to me feeling stuck in patterns of anxiety, depression, or relational tension, seeking to rediscover themselves and rebuild meaningful connections.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I help by creating a compassionate, nonjudgmental space where healing and growth can take place. My approach is grounded in understanding who we are at our core and how we relate to the world around us. Through deep exploration and thoughtful guidance, I work with individuals and families to heal from past wounds, reconnect with their authentic selves, and build stronger relationships based on trust and mutual respect.

In our first few sessions, you can expect to feel heard and supported as we begin to explore your concerns and goals. We’ll work together to develop a plan that resonates with you, and I’ll offer tools and insights that empower you to create meaningful change. I believe that therapy is a journey of self-discovery, and I’m here to walk alongside you as you navigate this process.

What you can expect from our first session

My practice is unique because I bring years of experience working with foster and adoptive families, adolescents, and individuals on their personal growth journey. I understand the unique challenges these populations face and offer a tailored approach to meet each individual or family’s specific needs.

I am passionate about this work because I deeply believe in the power of healing and connection. There’s nothing more fulfilling than helping someone rediscover their strength and find a sense of peace and purpose. If you’re ready to take that first step toward healing and growth, I’d love to support you on this journey.
