Great to meet you!

Hi, I'm Tim and I've been in the counseling field for the past 6 years now, where I have worked in various settings helping individuals parcel out what's going on for them at that given moment. What I have come to learn during these past 6 years is to listen for what might be the underlying factors that are causing disruption or consequences in one's life. My training has allowed me to develop this approach through existential, humanistic, and behavioral psychology models. We have a lot going on and things get enmeshed in our lives. I'm here to listen.

My approach to therapy

I like to explore how we create meaning out of the events of our lives and how some of those events might be showing up in our present. I'm curious what stories we tell ourselves or focus on during our daily lives and how this might be skewing our perception of things. I also fold in DBT/CBT, Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused, and ACT throughout our process.

What you can expect from me

It is my aim to have us start to reveal the person we want to be for ourselves, for our families, for our partners, for our relationships, and at work. We will work on building more awareness of our patterns, tendencies, idiosyncrasies, and story loops. And, most importantly, we will work on what specifics you want to get out of this process.
