Great to meet you!

I’m a licensed professional clinical counselor with five years of experience, a doctorate in clinical mental health counseling, and a specialization in sport and performance psychology. I believe mental health isn’t optional; it’s foundational to how we function, perform, and live well. Reaching out for support can feel intimidating, like committing to a marathon you didn’t train for, so giving yourself credit for starting matters.

I work with youth and adults (18+), supporting concerns such as anxiety, depression, and performance-related stress, whether that shows up in sports, work, or everyday life. My approach is practical and supportive, focused on building resilience, gaining clarity, and helping you move forward with intention. And yes, there’s room for humor along the way.

My approach to therapy

Everyone has a unique story, but too often, others try to co-author it for us. I believe therapy is an opportunity to take back the pen and become the editor of your own narrative. I work with adults 18 and up to help them rewrite the patterns that no longer serve them. Our work will be a collaborative process built on open communication, respect, and support. I’ll listen, challenge, and guide you as you shape a story that truly reflects who you are and where you want to go.

What you can expect from me

I always begin with an introductory session where you have the opportunity to share your story, your insights, and what you hope to achieve in therapy. I recognize that you are the expert on your own life, and I create a space where you can help me help you. Together, we’ll explore what works best for you in a way that feels collaborative and respectful. My goal is to foster a warm, welcoming environment where you feel comfortable being open and vulnerable while also feeling secure. From there, we’ll continue working as a team to turn your goals into a reality.
