Great to meet you!

I work with adults who are feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or trying to make sense of themselves during stressful or transitional periods of life. Many of the people I work with are navigating anxiety, burnout, work-related stress, or the emotional toll of caring for others. My goal is to create a space where you feel heard, understood, and able to approach challenges with greater clarity and confidence.

I have particular experience working with young adults, young professionals, healthcare workers, first responders, and men—especially those who may be new to therapy or unsure where to start. Through my work across emergency, outpatient, residential, and telehealth settings, I’ve supported individuals from a wide range of backgrounds and life circumstances. This has shaped me into a flexible and adaptable clinician who is comfortable meeting clients where they are.

My approach to therapy

My style is warm, gentle, and honest, with a strong emphasis on practical, collaborative work. I aim to engage with clients as genuinely as possible, bringing my authentic self into the room. While I take people’s concerns and life circumstances seriously, I also believe there is value in appropriate humor and lightness when it feels natural. This never means minimizing a client’s experiences, but rather creating a space that feels human, balanced, and approachable. Therapy with me is thoughtful and professional, while still allowing room for warmth, perspective, and moments of levity.

What you can expect from me

The first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and begin understanding what’s bringing you to therapy. I’ll ask a number of questions to better understand your background, current concerns, and overall context. Some of this is part of a biopsychosocial assessment, which provides an important foundation for our work, though it is not the complete picture of who you are.

At times, this initial conversation may feel more structured or “mechanical,” simply to ensure I cover the necessary areas. As we continue working together and you become more comfortable, sessions naturally become more conversational and collaborative. My goal is to balance structure with genuine connection, creating a pace that feels thoughtful, supportive, and responsive to your needs.
