Great to meet you!

I was born & raised in Lancaster, PA & moved out to Boulder 20 years ago to attend Naropa University where I earned an MA in Contemplative Psychotherapy. I have been working in the mental health field since 2007 & have extensive experience working w/ young adults and those entering mid-life. I have a particular interest in working with people who strive to live more meaningful lives, but struggle to move beyond self-limiting thoughts, emotions, & behavior.

A bit about my approach to therapy

My focus is on developing a positive relationship w/ self, identifying core values & desires, clarifying traumas & conflicts that keep one stuck, & developing practices & strategies to help one come into healthier contact w/ the painful aspects of their lives. This leads to more confidence in oneself, less fear & anxiety, & more vitality & meaning in their experience. I believe psychotherapy to be an authentic meeting between human beings & I approach each client w/ the utmost care & respect.

What you can expect from our first session

Mindfulness, Compassion and positive sense of self.
