Great to meet you!

I received a master’s degree in social work (MSW) from the University of Connecticut and have an extensive background working with adults/adolescents of all ages, particularly in areas related to addictions, life transitions, relationship and intimacy issues, spirituality, overcoming anxiety and improving performance. I am a trauma informed therapist trained in the Ecological Perspective who integrates CBT, mindfulness practice and insight oriented therapy to promote wholeness and wellness.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I take a person-centered approach in my therapeutic work, with sensitivity, compassion and a willingness to embrace the whole person in a process that promotes healing, connection and wholeness.. I ask powerful questions that facilitate introspection, stimulate imagination, identify obstacles and clarify life goals and purpose.

What you can expect from our first session

Clients can expect to gain a new understanding and insight into their inner selves. They can look forward to making new connections between their past experiences, present day circumstances, and developing a new clarity, sense of purpose and motivation to make a better tomorrow.
