Great to meet you!

I am a Board-Certified Music Therapist (MT-BC), Licensed Creative Arts Therapist (LCAT), and Fellow of the Association for Music and Imagery (fAMI) with more than a decade of experience supporting individuals and couples through life’s challenges. I earned my Master of Science in Music Therapy with an emphasis in Mental Health Counseling from the State University of New York at New Paltz and specialize in working with anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, grief, bereavement and life transitions. My approach integrates music psychotherapy, mindfulness, guided imagery & music, and evidence-based therapeutic techniques to help clients deepen self-awareness, strengthen resilience, and reconnect with their authentic selves. I strive to create a warm, collaborative, and affirming space where clients can explore emotions, develop practical coping skills, and move toward greater balance and well-being.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, compassionate, and tailored to each individual’s unique needs and goals. I draw from evidence-based counseling approaches, mindfulness practices, music psychotherapy, and guided imagery & music to help clients gain insight, process emotions, and develop effective coping strategies. Together, we work to foster self-awareness, resilience, and meaningful, lasting change that extends beyond the therapy room.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect a welcoming, supportive, and judgment-free environment during their first session. We will spend time getting to know one another, discussing what brings you to therapy, exploring your personal history, and identifying the goals you hope to achieve through our work together. My priority is to help you feel comfortable, heard, and understood while beginning to develop a treatment plan that aligns with your unique needs and strengths. By the end of the session, you can expect to have a clearer understanding of the therapeutic process and the next steps toward creating meaningful change in your life.
