Great to meet you!

Hi, I'm Tim. I'm a licensed clinical social worker based in Massachusetts, and I earned my certification in mental health counseling from Simmons University. Alongside my private practice, I spend my days at a community mental health group where I help lead a team of clinicians — so supporting people through hard seasons of life isn't just my job, it's what I've built my career around.

I work with children, teens, and adults, and I genuinely believe that every person who walks into my (virtual) office is worth showing up for — exactly as they are, with whatever they're carrying.

My approach to therapy

I don't believe in one-size-fits-all therapy. Some of the people I work with are looking for a steady place to vent, untangle their thoughts, and problem-solve the stuff of everyday life. Others are navigating something heavier — depression, bipolar disorder, or a diagnosis that feels overwhelming to face alone. Wherever you land on that spectrum, I'll meet you there.

The heart of how I work comes down to this: you are the expert on your own life. My job isn't to hand you a script or tell you who to be. It's to sit alongside you, ask good questions, and help you find the tools, insights, and shifts that actually move the needle for you. We'll work as a team — you bring the lived experience, I bring the clinical lens, and together we figure out what healing, changing, and thriving look like for your life.

Above all, I want you to feel seen. Whatever you're going through, it helps to have someone in your corner. I'd like to be that person.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is low-pressure — there's no test, no right answer, and nothing you need to prepare. Mostly, it's a chance for us to get to know each other.

I'll ask what brought you in, what's been weighing on you, and what you're hoping therapy can help with. You'll also get to ask me anything you want about how I work, what our sessions will look like, and whether I feel like the right fit for you (because that matters — a lot). By the end of the hour, we'll talk about a loose plan for where to go from here, at whatever pace feels right for you.

If you've been thinking about reaching out, consider this your sign. I'd be honored to work with you.
