Great to meet you!

I am a firm believer in a collaborative approach to solve problems while maintaining a solution-oriented focus. we will start with where you are now. I believe I am an empathetic, thoughtful clinician who can identify with most client issues, both personally and professionally.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I am a MSW graduate of Fordham University in New York City in 2004. I graduated with a 4.0 average and majored in clinical work. People say that they feel heard when they see me in therapy. Ct's report that they feel I really care about their them and their issues...I do.

What you can expect from our first session

I am completely non-judgmental. I have my own past which included past alcohol and substance abuse. I am a believer in harm reduction therapy as well as abstinence and 12 step programs. In therapy, whether it be for a mood issue, relationship issue or another major life challenge, you will find me to have a great sense of empathy. I also participate in mental health services since I received my masters degree in 2004. Part of our program was to have one year in therapy ourselves. I had other problems with which only another MH professional could assist. Being on both sides of the 'couch' has allowed me to be more self aware as a clinician.
