Hello, my name is Tina Brooks. I am a licensed professional counselor, national board-certified counselor and a certified clinical trauma professional. I have a passion to help people especially those who have/are experiencing trauma related issues.
I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). I believe in meeting people where they are at and walking them through whatever they are wanting to work on. I also use other modalities if CBT is not appropriate.
Our first session is to get to know each other and ask questions. I feel building a strong bond is crucial to success. I am a firm believer being comfortable with your counselor/therapist is the most important aspect of a counseling relationship.
