Great to meet you!

I am a licensed therapist with over 25 years of experience supporting mothers with postpartum depression, anxiety and the emotional transition of early motherhood. I also enjoy working with teens and young adults as they also face emotional transitions in life.

I hold a Master's degree in psychology and use a companionate, evidenced based approach that integrates CBT and mindfulness to help patients feel grounded and supported.

As a Latina therapist and a mom myself, I bring cultural understanding and lived experience into my work, creating a warm and nonjudgmental space for healing.

Outside of therapy, I enjoy the outdoors and music which help me stay balanced and present for my patients.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative and grounded in evidence based care. I specialize in Maternal Mental Health but I also enjoy working with patients across the lifespan who struggle with Anxiety and Depression.

My style is supportive and I integrate CBT and Mindfulness tools/strategies to help patients gain insight and learn coping skills to maintain emotionally regulated.

What you can expect from me

In your session, you can expect a welcoming and supportive space where we will focus on getting to know you and the reason that brought you to therapy. We will talk about your concerns, your personal/family history. We will also identify/create goals that you hope to gain from therapy.
