Great to meet you!

People tend to be very comfortable around me and find it is easy to share their life struggles. I am a very caring, compassionate therapist but can be direct. If so, it is always done in a nurturing way. I love working with people in an effort to help them create their best lives.

My approach to therapy

My approach depends upon the individual and their particular presenting concern. I have used Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, Mindfulness Therapy and Eclectic Therapy to name a few.

What you can expect from me

I encourage my clients to actively participate in their treatment plans by involving them in setting goals. I actively listen to their concerns and validate their feelings. I also challenge clients to work on their issues outside of therapy by assigning homework or encouraging the use of coping skills learned in therapy.
