Great to meet you!

I earned a Masters of Science degree in Mental Health Counseling. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the states of Arizona and Utah. I am certified in Prepare and Enrich Marriage and Relationship Counseling, and trained in the Trauma therapy of EMDR, which is effective for any adverse situation in life. I have 13 years of experience in mental health counseling. I believe in lifelong learning and plan to never stop my continuing education, especially in how we can use our whole brain, to calm ourselves, overcome life’s obstacles, and find happiness.

My approach to therapy

Much of life is out of our control, and mental health tools and techniques have scientifically been proven to help us successfully conquer the opposition in our lives. I love hearing each person’s unique story, all that defines them (their strengths, talents, struggles, and pain). I enjoy helping people find their path to happiness. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, EMDR, and borrow from others when appropriate. I work with most ages, and have had a wide variety of experience with many different issues.

What you can expect from me

I am very strength-based, empowering your knowledge and capability to overcome and begin enjoying life again. Most of my clients feel hope the first session and see progress soon, usually within just a few sessions.
